Leryn Franco, a beacon of athleticism hailing from Paraguay, made her mark in the arena of javelin throwing at the Olympics in 2004, 2008, and 2012.
Post-retirement, her focus pivoted towards her role at Club Sol de América’s athletics department and pursuing her passions for modeling and acting. Besides appearing in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, Franco showcased her thespian skills in the Irish film “Eliza Lynch: Queen of Paraguay”, portraying a young Eliza Lynch with eloquence.
Allison Baver — Speed Skating
Since embarking on her career as a professional speed-skater, Allison Baver has emerged as an awe-inspiring contender. Climbing to the world’s third rank in the 2005/06 season, she marked the onset of a luminous career.
Her appearance at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Italy was nothing short of impressive, and despite a regrettable on-track collision during the Semifinal A, she has continued to awe spectators. Presently, she is serving a four-year term as vice president of the U.S. Olympians and Paralympians Association, further asserting her influence.
