Sam Elliott & Katharine Ross – 33 Years
Sam Elliott and Katharine Ross first crossed paths on the set of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid in 1969, where Ross was starring alongside Paul Newman and Robert Redford. Elliott had only a minor role, and it wasn’t until almost a decade later that they reconnected while working on the horror film The Legacy. Sparks flew, and they began dating in 1978, eventually getting married in 1984. Though it was Ross’s fifth marriage, it turned out to be the lasting one. The couple has been together for 37 years now, and while Elliott acknowledges that marriage requires effort, they’ve proven that it’s worth it.
