Maya Bay in Thailand is a picturesque tropical lagoon, thrust into the limelight by the ’90s movie “The Beach” featuring Leonardo DiCaprio. Nestled within the Thara-Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park, this beach had seen a temporary hiatus in tourist access back in 2018 to aid in the rejuvenation of its delicate coral reef ecosystem.
