Regrettably, these stink bugs didn’t confine themselves to the eastern seaboard for long. They have now infiltrated 44 out of the 50 states in the US. What’s astounding is that this widespread infestation occurred in just a quarter of a century!
Cilantro and Almonds
Stink bugs exude a distinct fragrance which, to some, might resemble the smell of cilantro, while others find it similar to almonds. Therefore, if you start noticing these aromas in your garden despite not cultivating these plants, it could be indicative of a stink bug issue.
